Hi Friends,
Well, if you clicked on this post, that means you are a Hallmark Christmas movie enthusiast like me. I’ve been following up on Hallmark Christmas movies since 2007 with their annual “Countdown to Christmas” movie line-up. I watch holiday movies on other networks as well, such as Abc Family, ION, UP & Lifetime, but none are more Christmassy and heartwarming as the ones found on Hallmark. I love Hallmark movies, even though the storylines are often very similar, sometimes very cheesy, but mostly really sweet. These are the movies you can rely on to keep the drama down to a minimum and always give you a happy ending. That’s why I love Hallmark movies so much.
So I thought, why not have a bit Hallmark fun week by week until Christmas, maybe even get to know some other Hallmarkies (I made that word up-Hallmark Channel lovers) like myself, as we enjoy the new 2015 Hallmark Christmas movie line-up.

I’m not one to be a very harsh movie critic. When it comes to movies I’m quite easy to please. Keep it clean, tell a good story, make it at least two or three of these things in one movie- sweet, inspiring, heartfelt, thought-provoking, exciting, funny and/or an adventure, and give it a happy ending. See, not hard to please (lol).
Truth be told, this is one of those rare occasions when I found a Hallmark movie to be boring. Don’t get me wrong it had alot of heartfelt dialogue in it, but that’s just it, it felt like alot of talking, but nothing really in exciting or interesting really happens in the film. It was predictable, which is mostly the case with Hallmark movies, and usually I can live with that, but because I found this movie to be a bit of a bore, predictability did not help it much.
The chemistry between the two very good looking romantic leads was just okay, but nothing to make a big deal out of. The very handsome male lead did say two funny things in the film, that got a laugh out of my husband and I. Yes, I made him watch it with me. If you watched, you’d probably know those moments of laughter too.
My favorite part is when we got to hear a newspaper article written for the local newspaper by the female lead, that spoke about greatness. It made me cry (I do that easily).
My favorite quote from the movie was when the female lead ask her mother- “How do you really truly know that it is right?” and her mother replied:
“You Know because your heart tells you that it is (right) and your head shuts up”
With all the Christmas decorations seen in the background of almost every scene in this Hallmark Channel’s 2015 Christmas movie ” ‘Tis the Season for Love,” which of the following Christmas decoration was seen in this film most?
a.) Toy Soldier b.) The Nutcracker c.) Santa Claus e.) Snowman

I love watching the Hallmark movies. This time of year is always fun to see what new movies they come out with. I have my recorder lined up to catch all that I can add right now of the Christmas movies.

Love this! I do some occasional work as a catering assistant, and the caterer I work for recently asked me about a job early in December…lots of rather tedious prep work of appetizers to serve 900 people! I told her I would do it…but only if I could watch Christmas movies while I worked. She said “of course” and told me she’d had to upgrade her satellite TV package to include the Hallmark channel so she could watch all their Christmas movies! Thanks for the fun post…stopping by from Good Morning Mondays!
I have an addict at my house too. I love this post and will have to show it to her!
This was fun! I love the Hallmark Christmas movies and look forward to them every year. However, I haven’t seen every one so I didn’t know some of the answers on your test. But I did know some of them!
Every year I post on facebook about how excited I am about the Christmas movies and every year the same friend bemoans the fact that she doesn’t have cable. I keep telling her to get it just for Christmas, lol!
Thanks for linking up to “Making Your Home Sing Monday!”
These movies look good, Latisha!
Our cable service has just re-added Hallmark. I’ll have to look for these movies!
I was “parked” by you on Wise Woman.
Blessings,
Melanie
Thanks for the line-up!
Fun, fun, fun! Thanks for sharing this today on Coffee & Conversation!! Looking forward to some family movie nights this holiday season…and your trivia games will be neat additions ;-)
I don’t have cable, tho, so I hope I can find these other places, too!!
I love the holiday movies on Hallmark! I’ve been staying up into the wee hours of the morning to watch them this week.
