Hi Everyone,
I’m excited to offer AskLatisha.com’s first free printable download. It’s is a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Story Coloring Book. It is an original story written by me, Latisha. It is a brief look at the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, from a Christian perspective written for children ages 4-9 years old. It is seven pages long. Not only is it a story for parents to read with their kids and have discussions about Dr. King’s life, but the children can color the illustrations in the book as well. Download and create a story book, in whatever way you like.
I’m thankful for your support and I hope you enjoy. Tell me what you think.

This is beautiful and thank you for sharing it. This can be a very hard topic to teach young children and the writing was perfect for them to understand, and I like how you made it into a coloring book. Visiting from Raising Memories linky party. Hope you have a wonderful week :)
Thank you so much. I very much appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts about this book. I wrote it for that very reason, to find a more gentle kid-friendly way to teach the story of Dr. King to younger children. I am really glad you like it and I hope you can share it with others who might need this kind of resource. Have a blessed day.

I really love the gentle approach you have with this topic. I think the sentiments really capture King’s dream perfectly for little kids. There are a few grammatical errors in the the text that you may want to correct. Other than that, this is a great freebie!
Hi Shannon,
Thank you so much. I appreciate the heads-up about the grammatical errors. This resource is a working progress. I’m testing the waters, getting my feet wet. I sensed that the wording in some parts of this story needed tweaking. I would love to have your input on the grammatically errors you’ve noticed. So I can correct them. Have a blessed day.
