Now he and the Furious Five; under the leadership of their guru; Master Shifu; have to work together to defeat the threat of vengeful and treacherous snow leopard; Tai Ling.

Genre:  Action/Adventure, Comedy, Kids/Family and Animation

Running Time: 1hr. 35 min.

MPAA Rating: PG for sequences of martial arts action.

One Word Descriptions:  Awesome, action-packed, exciting, awesome!

Best:  The star-studded animation is an action-pack flick; it’s very exciting to watch.

Worst: No complaints, love the cast, love the storyline, and love the action

Favorite Quote(s): Oogway:“You are too concerned about what was and what will be. There is a saying: yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.”

Po: “Legend tells of a legendary warrior whose kung fu skills were the stuff of legend.”

Po:   “It is said that his enemies would go blind from over-exposure to pure awesomeness!”

Relatable: Well; personally I can relate to knowing in your heart, that you are destined for greatness/ “awesomeness” and that someone of higher power (for Po, it was Master Oogway; for me, it is the heavenly Father) believes in your capabilities; but based on appearances of the now and the looks of your outer layer (the physical); you can’t envision how that greatness/ “awesomeness” will occur. Can some of you relate to that?

Predictability: I did not find it that much predictable at all. I did predict, sort of, what would be the cause of Tai Ling’s escape from prison. If you are a deep thinker, you’ll get it too.

Believability: Yeah, I believe that sometimes the most unlikely person can accomplish the most extraordinary and unexpected things.

Actor Quality: Very High. Every voice-actor was exactly how you’d expect them to be, as if it was them acting in the movie themselves. Po is totally Jack Black. Angelina is totally Tigress. Dustin Hoffman was totally Master Shifu. It was like those voices and characters were made for each other. Shockingly though; Lucy Liu’s character Viper was a bit nicer than the movie-version of Lucy Liu would be in her shoes.

Movie Quality:  Very good. No complaints. The Martial-Art sequences looked awesome.

Funny Factor:    This film is very funny. They are lots of stuff to make you laugh. Jack Black is just plain funny being typical Jack Black. The dialogue in this film is really funny at times. Yeah, this movie should make you laugh; if you have a sense-of-humor.

kungfuHottie-o-meter:  If there is a movie that Angelie Jolie is in and is not chosen as the film’s hottie; please let me know what that crazy movie is. Anyway; my chose hottie for this film is Tigress; voiced by real-life hottie A.J.

Audience: Everyone who likes light, fun, exciting animations.

Good for:  Slumber Parties, Movie Nights, etc.

I:  Loved it

Lessons:  The ordinary can accomplish the extraordinary; when he/she believes in them self and sometimes it really helps when others believe in you too. Don’t listen when others say you can’t do it. If you think you can, you can; if you think you can’t, then you really can’t. Don’t stress about yesterday’s mistakes or tomorrow’s problems; live in the present and take it a step at a time.

Inspired: To believe in myself and not focus on the way things may look now. Envision my dreams coming to pass, have faith and work hard and they will someday when the time is right. Use the skills, resources and gifts I have today; they are exactly what I need to take me where I need to be tomorrow.

Discussion:  Faith, Courage, Strength within yourself, Doing things your way and still succeeding, friendship, determination, etc.

Ending Satisfaction: The ending of this film was kind of funny and cool; but I would like to have seen a little more closure.

Final Recommendation:  Buy it
