Hope all is well and life is blessed. Just want to share with you some of my fave fourth of July pics of 2016. For my family and I, it was a great day of fun and play. Delicious food and pleasant company, plus the addition of new happy memories.

Started the day with a fruit buffet breakfast of plantain, cherries, grapes, blueberries, watermelon, pineapple.

Here is the recipe. I just changed it up a bit. I put walnuts, hot fudge and caramel in the middle and frozen strawberries and blueberries on the top to make the American flag. Next time, I’ll use fresh fruit. The frozen fruit did not look very good to me. Never worked with frozen fruit before. Didn’t know how bad it’ll look. Nevertheless, It came out 90% good.

Later on, we had fun with Sparklers and Morning Glories in our backyard. That is about as much fireworks I get to see on the fourth of July in our neighborhood.
