Happy Saturday, and how do you do? I hope everyone had a great 4th of July/Independence Day (those who celebrate it ) and I hope you had a blessed weekend in general. Thanks to everyone who was able to join the party last week and thank you for coming again this week.
To be honest, I’ve been feeling a little congested lately with very draining emotions, emotions that I just shouldn’t be feeling because of how much God has blessed me. I have struggled for many years with emotions that steal my joy, but it seems the older I get, the harder the battle becomes.
These emotions have made it so difficult to enjoy what’s good in my life and makes it very difficult to write. My brain feels clogged with toxins that challenge me everyday in fulfilling my daily God-given purpose with patience, enthusiasm and joy. I pray God helps me to overcome what I’m feeling.
I don’t mean to bring this party down. I hope you find some good post to read before you go. I’m still hosting this party about celebrating life, even though I’m not, because I don’t want completely give in to my feelings and give up. Pray for me. Enjoy your weekend!

About a week ago I signed-up for Sunshine Box Swap (#SunshineBoxSwap) at Mrs AoK, a work in progress.com, received my swap partner, sent her package and received my box of sunshine. Check out what I received.
A couple of weeks ago, I received an e-mail from Kelly (Mum-bo-jumbo.com) letting me know that she has nominated me for a Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award. You may or may not have heard of it, but to learn more about it click here.
I also got to nominate 12 other bloggers whom I enjoy for this award. So here are my nominees.

My sweet Latisha… sometimes we have times where our feelings get the best of us and we don’t understand why. These are the times we lean on God’s word for the encouragement we know we need. It may take time before we see or even feel better, but trusting all the same. I lifted you up to our Lord before I wrote this as soon as I read it. Will continue to lift you in prayer in the days ahead. Much love! Michelle
Dear Michelle,
Thank you so much. At this time, I feel as though I need more pray than ever before. I truly am grateful for your prayers.
Praying for you dear sister today that your clouds might lift and the sun rays of God’s love might once again shine in your heart and life. And know that we all pass through those seasons of leanness to our soul but God promised to be with us in the valley. Many blessings to you and yours.
Hoping you have a little sunshine sent your way :)
::big hugs::
Continue to write, even if it is just for yourself. Paint, draw, sing, dance, go outside and walk/run/do some cartwheels. Anything to get those feelings at bay. Praying that tomorrow will be better for you.
