Happy Saturday and blessings to you! Thanks for dropping by for the 44th week of TGI Saturdays. I’ve got a feeling it is going to be a great week ahead for you and me. Thanksgiving (here in the United States of America) is just five days away and I’m just so astounded at the fact that we are about to head into our final week of November already.
November is really a special month for more reasons than one, but Thanksgiving is truly a special holiday. A time meant for reflection and as the name says be in the spirit of thankfulness. As I have mentioned before sometimes there are things that cause us to forget to be thankful, but truly we are blessed in 10’000 ways and beyond.
I’m very thankful for you, even though I don’t really know you and you don’t really know me. I know that God made you and that he doesn’t make mistakes. He made you for a special purpose to make this world better and brighter. So I know that because of you my world is better and brighter.
I’m also very thankful that you came to my Thanksgiving blog hop party to share with me and mingle with other great bloggers like ourselves. I’m truly very thankful for you. So I’d like to share this Thanksgiving card from me to you with love.
A Thanksgiving Prayer
“Faith of our Fathers,” renew us again
And make us a nation of God-fearing men
Seeking Thy guidance, Thy love, and Thy will
For we are but pilgrims in search of thee still
And, gathered together on Thanksgiving Day,
May we lift up our hearts and our hands as we pray
To thank You for blessings we so little merit,
And grant us Thy love and teach us to share it
By Helen Steiner Rice
“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. ”
Colossians 3:15-17 ESV
Blessings to you.
With love,

For the last three weeks I’ve being doing a post series where I reflect on some of what I am thankful for. I guess alot of us bloggers have been doing that, considering the season and all. I am glad I did, being in a spirit of thankfulness puts you in a peaceful frame of mind. Though for other reasons, I’m not as much in a peaceful place as I’d like to be, doing this series really helped me alot. I would love for you to read what I shared. It’s a way of getting to know me a little bit.

These very powerful and insightful words from Mary Dolan Flaherty from SonRise Insights spoke to my spirit. I truly needed the encouragement and reminder to “Treasure the Journey” I’m on, especially now in this very hard working, overwhelming, time-consuming, lonely, unglamorous journey of motherhood I am on. Thank you so much for sharing with TGI Saturdays Mary!
