Hi friends,
I hope you are doing well this lovely Spring day. I hope your week was a blessing and you were a blessing to others this week. So you are reading this 64th TGI Saturdays post the second week of April 2016. However, I’m actually writing this post the last week of January 2016. Why you may ask?
Well, the reason is because I am currently expecting and will be getting ready to have my 6th child very soon (6-8 weeks). So I have prepared 4 1/2 months worth of pre-scheduled TGI Saturdays posts. I’m calling this series of pre-scheduled posts “Saturday Inspirations,” because I’m hoping they encourage, inspire and uplift your spirit.
I was initially hoping to write 10 weeks worth myself and have guest bloggers fill the other 9 weeks, however, I didn’t get as many volunteers as I was hoping for, so I’ve decided to just go with it and do what I can.
If you’ve been around for the 10 weeks of posts that have already published before this one, I really hope you liked what I prepared and I hope you like the ones to follow as well.
Would love to hear from you via my comment box. I love reading your comments and will continue to do so as often as I can, even during my Blogging Maternity Break. Hope to be back by June 18th.

The last few months of my life I have been really thinking about all the things I have to be thankful for, all the wonderful blessings I have received from the Lord, big blessings and little blessings. God’s providential care on my family’s life. Mind you, none of these blessings are fancy, flashy, fabulous or expensive, but they have been just what our family has needed. I have really come to appreciate our blessings, especially since I’ve experienced what it felt like to not have them, or to wait a really long time for them. Because of that wait, receiving that gift felt oh so sweeter and I valued it more. I think I truly understand why some lessons have to be experienced and not just spoken. I think I understand a little bit more about why God makes us wait or allow us to not have for a while. What are your thoughts?

Fist time visitor here! Hoping to become a regular! What a sweet poem! It think it so important to be thankful in all. One of my most thankful moments lately was when a friend brought me Mac-N-Cheese with a meal after my dad died – I never mentioned that I was craving that. To know my God loves me enough to take care of that small a detail is overwhelming! Blessings on the birth of your baby boy! liz
