Hi friends,
Blessings and a happy Saturday to you. I’m back! Did you miss me? I hope you enjoyed the pre-cooked posts I left for you. Now I’m ready to have a chat and catch up, how about you?
I just want to say thank you guys for sticking with TGI Saturdays over the last 4 months, for reading my “Saturday Inspirations” and commenting. Thanks for your prayers and your support during this season of my life. I appreciate your continued prayers for our family as we continue to embark on this journey of our lives. Also thanks to my very awesome guest bloggers (Marva, Michelle, Rebecca).
So I’m now officially a mom of 6 children (5 with me & 1 in heaven). I have one daughter (9 years old) and 4 sons (a 6 year old, a 2 year old, a 1 year old and an almost 3 month old).
My 3 month old was born March 22nd, just in time for the welcoming of Spring. His name is Kenahi Dakarai B. He is a peaceful baby and he loves to smile and laugh.
My firecracker 2 year old will be celebrating his 3rd birthday in 2 days (June 20th), just in time for the welcoming of Summer, and my daughter and I will be celebrating our birthdays in August (24th and 28th). She will be turning 10. What birthdays do you have coming up this summer?
Over the last 4 months I have been truly blessed and have alot to be thankful for, plus alot of stories to tell. If you would like to see a photo diary of what I have been up to these few months, come check my Sunday Show ‘n’ Tell post. Next week I’ll be sharing some more stories with you, starting with my birth story.
Peace, Love and Blessings to you.

Every now and then while making my blog reading rounds. I’d stumble on a blog that catches my attention for more the just one post. I find myself reading post after post, because the post titles interested me. Does that happen to you sometimes too? I would love to do that for others on my blog. So here is my favorite blog this week.
Which loved one’s birthday(s) do you have coming up this summer? How do you plan to celebrate?

Our season of birthdays is March – June. I love to make pies for our family celebrations. Key lime (yes, we actually squeeze many key limes for this! More love in the pie!) and fresh strawberry are favorite pies in birthday season. So glad you are back!
Welcome back, Latisha! Wow, you have got your hands full – but what precious *babies* you have! Loved seeing the photos, and catching up with you. And so glad to hear that everyone is doing well – especially Momma and new son Kenahi! Children are indeed a blessing from the Lord!
I have some extended family birthdays during the summer. And I am getting a new daughter-in-law in July – which is also the month of her birthday! Celebrations abound!!
GOD BLESS!
Welcome back! Congratulations on your new son. Your family is beautiful and thank you for all the shout outs too. Looking forward to having you back and all your inspirational posts. Happy Weekend!
Welcome back and nice to meet you! I stumbled across this blog while you were away. I’m so honored that you like my blog (There’s No Place Like Home). Thank you so much for the shout-out. You made my day! Congratulations on your newest addition to the family. All of your kids are beautiful! As for birthdays, we’ve got 3 coming up next month (2 of my sons and 1 of my daughters) and 2 in the beginning of September (my oldest son’s and mine…that still counts as summer, right?) Anyway, thanks again! Blessings to you!
Hi Latisha, I’m so happy to have you back! Congrats on your newest bundle of joy, baby Kenahi! It’s so fun to get to see pictures of all the kids together and I can’t wait for your updates tomorrow.
My daughter turned 9 in May and my son will be 11 at then end of August. His birthday always falls during summer vacation (our schools usually open during the 1st week of Sept.), so I have to get really creative to pull together his friends for his birthday celebration.I still have time to plan it so it should be lots of fun.
It’s so very good to have you back! Hugs,
Marva
Congratulations on the new little one!
My oldest daughter has her birthday tomorrow; it’s on Father’s Day this year. My brother’s birthday is in mid- July. And I have a sister who was born at the end of June. Another sister was born in September, but her birthday was hi-jacked in 2001, if you know what I mean.
Tell your daughter that she has a beautiful smile! :)
Welcome back and congrats on that precious baby! My goodness, you have a beautiful family! Gorgeous kids! Be blessed!
Welcome back! and again Congratulations on your beautiful family. I love the pictures you shared of them today. Oh and to answer your community question – I am the only summer birthday in my family — so I guess the answer is ME! we will be celebrating me this summer – July lol have an awesome week,
Welcome back! It sounds like you have been blessed abundantly with all the joys of children.
