Hey Friends,
Hope all is well and you’re still having a blessed summer. I’m doing well, my family is doing well, my summer is going well and I’m blessed.
I’m exactly one week away from a very important date (time). How important? So important that my husband and I have been waiting for it for over a year. Now it is finally a mere seven days away.
This date will usher our family into a new season of life (a better one). If all goes positively it will change things for the us and fill a huge family need. It is a life defining moment.
Last year, we put our trust in God and stepped out in faith, waiting for this coming season. Not knowing where God was going to lead us or how we were going to get there. However, Our Father sent us what we needed every step of the way, sometimes in unorthodox packages. Now here we are almost to this race’s finish line.
Today, I’d like to ask that you, my blog community of believers to pray with me, and for my family and I. That everything goes according to His plan and will. That He gives me strength to be who He made me to be in this season.
Dear God, Almighty Heavenly Father,
We come to you in the name of your son Jesus Christ
We praise you and worship your Holy Name
Thank you for all your Blessings
Thank you for bringing us this far
Thank you for helping my family to grow
I pray Lord, that you continue to bless our family
I thank you for what’s to come
I pray that you work things out according to YOUR will and YOUR way
Continue to guide me, shape me, lead me, Almighty God
Shape me into who you made me to be
I pray for all your children and all who are praying with me right now
I thank you for their prayers
I pray blessings on their lives
I pray you continue to watch over them and their loved ones
the way you watch over me
Forgives us where we fall short of your glory
Give us strength, wisdom, courage, understanding, love, mercy, kindness and faith
Help us Lord to be a reflection of you
In the name of your Son, Jesus Christ
AMEN

Latisha – thank you for hosting as always, it is so good to have you back… So what is the longest I’ve waited for a prayer to be answered…hmmmm great question.. I am sure there are some that have already been answered that I have prayed in the past, but the one I thought of is one that is still on my list and it’s been about 2 years of praying
