Dear Friends and Children of God,
It’s another blessed Sunday. The sidewalks, streets and driveways are packed with tons of snow. We’re kind of stuck inside with no where to go. So I thought i’ll share God’s goodness and family fun we had this week. This week, it was more playdough cookies, chocolate covered snicker pretzel snacks, and Lego creations. Nothing new, just the improvement of some things old.
My kids love the playdough cookies because they are colorful, fun to make and you can make all kinds of crazy shapes with them. I baked and created all weekend long last weekend, my daughter helped. I wanted to make a little Valentine’s gift for the kids next door. I felt really sad because it all came out beautifully, but we didn’t get to give them to the kids. The weather was awful. Anyway, look at how our playdough cookie skills are improving. I am thinking of practicing some more so I can put them in little gift bags and sell them in the spring. It would be a good way to start teaching entrepreneurship to my daughter.
My son created the Christmas tree, bird and the magic school bus. My daughter created the pretzel and heart tree. Momma created all the ordinary round and heart cookie pops.
Did you see that awesome snake!
Check out the duck in a pond, turtle and carrots. Those are my daughter’s creations.
Look at these cute carrots in a bunch cookie created by my daughter.
I used these candy melts for a more colorful Snicker Pretzel Snack.
Here is how my Valentine’s Day treats came out.
I packaged them in these little clear hearts treat bag, then I put them in a mini Valentine gift bag as a Valentine’s treat for the kids next door.
Here are some of my kid’s best Lego Duplo Creations this week. A Lego peacock, a Lego playground and Lego robot. I’m still very impressed with what you could create with Legos.
