So, I have finally arrived, the place I’ve been praying to be, for over a year now. One of my many short-term goals has been realized and I am so grateful to my Father for bringing me to this place. Being here has helped me to understand something I have already known in my heart of heart.

Happiness does not come attached to any piece of furniture, appliance, house or anything you can physically hold in your hand. It’s not something you can see, smell, hear, touch or taste. It is a state of the soul, it’s inside you and you carry it wherever, whenever, whoever, however you go.

Being here has help me to discover, well confirm; it wasn’t were I was or what I had that was making me completely miserable; it is a spirit inside me; who has been living in me for a very long time and I think it is high time I hand that joy-stealer an eviction notice.

I have been blessed, truly blessed my entire life; despite the challenges, which all of us have to endure at many points of our life; so what is there for me to be unhappy about. I have so many great memories, victories and experiences; I in no way have any reason to doubt God or be ungrateful to him.

True joy and happiness; no matter what you have, don’t have or where you are in life right now; is a decision. You have to invite that spirit in your heart and let it go to work in you and allow your soul to shine brighter than the sun. You have to glow wherever you are and whose presence you are in. That is one of the requirements of a Child of God; be a reflection of Him. Sparkle so brightly you inspire others to pursue his radiance.

That is the kind of happiness I aspire to. What about you?

Here is a poster I am planning on purchasing from the website www.allposters.com, one of my favorite sites on the net, let me know if you know of a place I can get it cheaper.

It says:
“The art of being happy lies in the power to extract happiness from common things.”
Henry Ward Bleecher.
