It’s October

Well; it’s the beginning of another month; just last month I was waiting to finally move into our own apartment on the second floor, where we have been living for the last year. Then after a year of waiting for that blessing God brought it to past officially on 10th September. It’s been three weeks since we have lived in our new home and it has just been a blessing.

So what this new month entails; well first nature is going to get vibrant and colorful, I honestly love the earth-tone colors of the trees during autumn; I always say this but I’ll say it again. I feel as though I am walking through a painting or a coloring book; just like in the magical Disney movie Mary Poppins. It’s beautiful.

Then there is the whole t.v, cinema, Dvd aspect, that I can’t forget. Some new shows and returns will be premiering this month; such as Pushing Daisies (Oct 1st), Samantha Who? (Oct 6th), Life on Mars; Kath & Kim (Oct 9th), The Starter Wife (Oct 10th), My Own Worst Enemy (Oct 13th), Eli Stone (Oct 14th), Crusoe (Oct 17th) and more.

Then coming to DVD this month are the movies Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull (seen it); The Incredible Hulk; You don’t mess with the Zohan; The Happening; War Inc; Journey to the Center of the Earth (seen it) and other stuff. Thank goodness, none of the good stuff, that I really, really want to see; because I had to put my Netflix account on hold last month; I didn’t get to see any of the movies that came out that month; so I got a lot of catching up to do; this month; hopefully, if I can.

Then coming to theaters are Beverly Hills Chihuahua; Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist; Rachel Getting Married (Oct 3rd); City of Ember; The Express; Happy Go Lucky (Oct 10th); Max Payne (Oct 17th); High School Musical 3: Senior Year (Oct 24th) and more. Nothing I necessarily want to go to the Cinema to watch; but I listed the movies that fall into the category of the kind of movies I like to watch.

Let’s see; this is also the month of Halloween; not particularly a Holiday I’m into; but the costumes do catch my attention; I’m only human. My brother celebrates his 22nd birthday on the 14th of this month.

For me; I dub this month; the month of getting in shape; getting more disciplined; finishing work on my second book (a book of poetry, articles and thoughts by me) and getting ready for my most favorite month of the year. You know what month I am talking about. So October; bring it on; I’m ready for what you got.

Just for the fun of it, watch, it’ll make you smile if you heart’s not made of ice

So excited for this month! We are big Halloween fans. With Halloween comes pumpkin patches a kids all time favorite thing to do in Autumn. Took my son today with some of his baby friends. It’s a beautiful season and so much fun for the family!! Now if we could just get rid of November and head straight into Christmas :-)
