Honestly, I really liked this movie, I know you are probably thinking, wow, this girl is so easily pleased and boy, she seems to like the cheesy lovey-dovey stuff. Yup, that’s me, I’m a complete sucker for feel-good, happy ending, true-love finding movies and I don’t believe they are as far-fetched as we make them out to be.

I just think real life and the real world could be so harsh, scary and serious, so I don’t see why my chosen entertainment has to be the same way. I love how certain movies can ignite the romantic, adventurous side of us, we let die as we grow older. I watch these kinds of movies to make sure I keep my dreams and fantasies alive. So I don’t forget about love, taking risk, being courageous and loving your self.

That’s what this movie is about; loving you for exactly who you are and knowing that there exist someone in this world who will love you the very same way. It’s about being courageous enough to face the world as you are and not letting how others perceive you, define you. It’s about, looking at a person on the inside and not be so consumed by how they look on the outside, you miss out on who they really are. This movie can teach so much, if you read between the lines, like I always like to do.

I thought James McAvoy was just too sexy for words. This movie was captivating for more reasons than one and the lesson in the end was so simple but extremely compelling. My two favorite quotes in this movie were

It’s always the mother’s fault

It is not the curse but the power you give to the curse.

One is completely true and the other is not always true but very funny. I think this movie is simply sweet but awesome.

BE WHO YOU ARE-NO MATTER WHAT!
