Happy Saturday to you. I hope your week was filled with blessings, and your weekend will be filled with good times and happy memories.
Last week at TGI Saturdays # 27, one of my favorite bloggers said that “Saturdays are much brighter because of TGI Saturdays,” she hit the nail on the head as to what I visualized I wanted this party to be, when I first started it.
I wanted and still want TGI Saturdays to be a happy, fun, humble, little blog hop that makes people smile when they come for a visit, I wanted/want it to be a celebration of life and our blessings from the Heavenly Father. I want this party to reflect God’s love, mercy and goodness through what we write and share as bloggers. I want it to reflect me and I want to reflect God.
I haven’t been doing that very well lately. I have been bringing this party’s purpose down with my words which stemmed from my troubled thoughts and emotions. I mentioned in this post about the two ‘me’s each battling to dominate my being for either light or darkness. I know the me I want to be and I can’t let the me that Satan is trying to make believe that I am win. So I will put on my armor of God and fight for God’s light in me.
This month is my birthday month and I will be celebrating this month with thankfulness and joy. My birthday is August 28th and i’ll turning 33 years old. I pray for a blessed and joyful month no matter what comes my way.
I just really wanted to say thank you to two of my “Sisterhood of the World Bloggers” award nominees, Rebecca and Michelle, two incredibly inspiring Titus 2 Women, for answering my “SOTWB” questions. Please check out their great answers here (Rebecca) and here (Michelle).
I also want to apologize to my other nominees, if by saying last week that I felt a bit disappointed that you hadn’t answered my questions, made you feel obligated or pressured in any way.
I nominated you because I want you to know that I appreciate you as a blogger, I appreciate what you share and appreciate you in general. I felt disappointed not because my pride was hurt or anything like that, but because I truly wanted to know your answers to my questions. I want to learn a little bit more about you. So if you are nominee, see below for link to my “Sisterhood of the World Bloggers” post to read the questions I would really love for you to answer. This week will be my last mentioning this award.
Blessings to you and have a fabulous weekend filled with as much of God’s goodness as one weekend could hold.

I’m so happy to have the coffee cake as most clicked. It is probably one of my favorite recipes to make. Thank you for featuring it. I appreciate your kind words in mentioning me in the Sisterhood paragraph. It is always a joy to have other bloggers recognize your work. Have a happy weekend and make some memories.
Letitia, I tried to find an email here on your blog so I could send you a message, but I didn’t see any contact information. So, let me just say this – I am truly humbled and honored that you think Sharon Sharing God is deserving of an award. Thank you for your kindness in thinking of me. I’m very grateful for blogging friends like you, who make writing such a rewarding experience, and make Blog Land such an exciting place to be. It truly is a community of believers that I cherish very much. And I always feel so blessed when I visit you!!
I hope you understand, but I have chosen to be an award-free blog for convenience and time-involvement reasons. But, if God has blessed you through any of the words that He has given me, then I am happy indeed!
Thank you so much for understanding.
And Happiest Birthday!! I so know about the battle between *darkness and light* – so I wish for you an August full of joy and peace!! (And a really tasty cake!)
GOD BLESS!
