Hi friends,
How are things going? Hope all is well. Today is TGI Saturdays 66th week of existence and I’m so very blessed you dropped in. Hope you had a good week and that you’re having a great weekend so far.
This post you are reading is another pre-scheduled post, which is a part of my series of 4 1/2 months worth of pre-scheduled posts called “Saturday Inspirations.” The reason I have so many pre-scheduled posts is because right now I’m taking a Maternity Break from blogging, as I’ll be in newborn baby season by the time you read this.
Still, feel free to drop me a line via my comment box, I’d really appreciate hearing from you and keeping connected with you all during this time.
So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.

Today (the day I’m preparing this post) is actually Groundhog Day (Feb 2nd) for me, and we just learned that the groundhog didn’t see his shadow. That means Spring will be coming sooner than later. Yeah! I find that to be great news, as I am very much looking forward to Spring for more reasons than one. Not only will my family be blessed with a new Spring baby (due in 5 weeks-just in time for the beginning of Spring), but many more good things are set to happen around this time for our family, God willing. I’m looking forward to getting outside and breathing in the fresh, crisp Spring air. I am really looking forward to planting our Garden for a second year, since moving in our new home. I always wanted a garden. A garden is such a beautiful reflection of God’s artistry and majesty. Do you have a garden? Hope you are having a very blessed Spring season?
The Garden
Let me just sit here
And reflect for hours
Immersed in the beauty of
God’s vibrant flowers
Let me just watch
As the butterflies flutter by
And feel the warmth of the sun
Shining down from the clear blue sky
Let me feel the cool breeze
As it blows through my hair
Let me hear the birds sing
As I sit in my chair
Let me talk to you Lord
In this magnificent place
And imagine the comforting smile on your face
As I bring to you my thankfulness, request and praise
Captivated by the majesty of this wondrous place
Let me dream big dreams
And believe in the possibilities
One day, some day
Let them be realities
Let me thank you Lord
For being a wonderful creator
For I know there is no one greater

I have tried and tried to have a garden and epic fails every time. I support our local farmers at Farmers Markets.
Our roses are blooming now, they came early!
No garden for us this year. We have too much going on with the new kiddo :) We’ll do a hanging-garden next year. Those are awesome space savers! Thanks for hosting!
