Good morning everyone. Nice to see you. How is everything going on your end? With me, I’m playing catch up right now. It’s been a week filled with challenges and victories. Can’t complain. Just have to do my best to do my best.
So between this week and last week, like I said I had my fair share of challenges and victories.
CHALLENGE:
Today I have to do alot of folding laundry and putting them away, I have baskets, baskets and bags of laundry to catch up with. I’m finally seeing the floor of my laundry room again.
CHALLENGE:
Last Sunday, I worked in the nursery for the 1st time at my new church and for the 1st time ever in my life (working in a nursery). Almost all the little kids that were brought in cried for their mommies to the point we had to call the mommies to be with them. We tried everything to console these children-snacks, toys, stories, nothing worked. It kind of gives you a feeling of helplessness, but I know it’s not in our control (caregivers). We did the best we knew how to do.
VICTORY:
That same Sunday, we took a 3 hour roadtrip to visit family. My kids did really good on this roadtrip. No meltdowns and no vomit (my 3 year tends to vomit alot because he doesn’t chew his food). It was an awesome adventure.
VICTORY:
We had a likeminded family visit our home on Thursday night for a potluck dinner to discuss the new Homeschool Coop we are developing. First time we have ever met a likeminded family. My husband and I are both hopeful this is the start of a Godly friendship.
VICTORY:
Yesterday was the first official meeting of Coop classes. I taught a cooking class (did not see that coming). I had three beautiful little girls (my daughter included) in my class. I thought them to make homemade marshmallows. It went well.
VICTORY:
My first two weeks of homeschool went really well.
CHALLENGE:
All my kids have runny nose and a cold today.
And there’s more, but those are the major things I’ll share today. My life is changing in what seems to be a good way. My prayers and birthday wishes are being answered and fulfilled, and I’m playing catch up because my plate has suddenly gotten more filled than it has ever been before.
God is sending help in a season when I feel we truly need it. I pray God gives our family the overall victory in this busy, busy season.
Have a good weekend. Thanks for reading.
Peace, Love and Blessings to you.

What season of life are you in right now?

Praise God for victories and for godly friendships! May the Lord continue to bless you and help you in all your mommy and teaching responsibilities as you strive to please Him day by day.
Keep up the good work!
Thinking of you. Thank you for the party.
Busy mama! The season I am currently in is a mix of roles. I’m grandma to 4, married off a daughter this year and another just got engaged, all the while I’m still homeschooling 6 children, I used to say “Life will return to ‘normal’ when…” meaning “less busy”. I quit saying that years ago. But I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.
Glad your first two weeks have gone well!
