Good morning friends. Hope your holiday season is treating you well. Wow, Christmas day is right around the corner now.  This is our last weekend before Christmas. How are your Christmas preparations coming? Have you completed all your shopping or do you have some last minute gifts to by or make.

This week I took my daughter and sister on their shopping day, my daughter’s 10 and sister’s 17, my mother-in-law gave them each $40.00. We also went to see the Disney movie Moana, which I loved and actually felt 100% comfortable with these girls watching. No lovey dovey prince charming stuff. It was just a movie about a brave princess, saving her people and about friendship, and so much more. Can’t wait to see it again. I’m also looking forward to seeing “Beauty and the Beast.”

Yesterday, I went to a Christmas lunch with the moms in my homeschool co-op. It was a great time of fellowship. We did a homemade/$5  value Secret Santa. It was such a fun experience to see the talent and creativity of the ladies in this group. My Secret Santa made me a body butter, which I already used last night. It’s good. I painted a small postcard size painting for my secret Santa, plus gave her a copy of my self-published poetry book. We had a fun time getting to know each other alot more. I look forward to growing in friendship with these ladies and seeing this co-op grow in the new year.

Last night, my mom and I went to a ladies Christmas tea at our church. It was also a very special time of fellowship between women. We sang Christmas carols, drank hot chocolate and ate lots of sugary foods, as well as received a short message that reminded us of what this season is truly about.

Tonight Santa is coming to town. Through our neighborhood, our local fire station brings in Santa on a decorated with Christmas lights firetruck. My kids experienced that last year. What an amazing neighborhood we live in.

This week, I’ll be working on wrapping presents, and making gift baskets for my neighbors, as well as paintings for gifts. I also would like to prepare the house for Christmas.

So Merry Christmas to you. I’ll see you on December 31st.

I wish you and yours a blessed Christmas season.

Peace, Love and Blessings to you.
