Hi, guys; and happy September; do you know what that means?
You know; a countdown to December; which is my most favorite month of the year. Well, yesterday was a bank holiday and I did nothing but eat and watch a Murder She Wrote Marathon; I am not completely proud of that fact but what can you do. Even though; I know it was not good for my body to be a couch potato in front a screen all day; I couldn’t help it. Come on; it’s Murder She Wrote; besides their was only one thought consuming my mind and that was; Where the heck is the moving van; an entire weekend has past and the people in our apartment (the one we are suppose to move into this month) have not moved out; as they were suppose to by the 31st. Apparently; they will move out “sometime this week.”

So that’s the way it is; my patience is once again being put to the test.

Recently; whenever I am in a situation like this; it reminds me of the story of Moses and the Israelites; step by step the Lord has brought them through on their journey to the “Land of Milk and Honey” and with every stumbling block they still complain; even after they have witness God’s deliverance time and time again; because of this ungrateful attitude they have never seen the promised land; only their descendents had the privilege.

I don’t want that to be me; I want to put my full trust in him and live in the moments. I have come to the conclusion that these delays and waiting periods are not in my control; God’s behind-the-scenes working it all out in all aspects involved and in the end it will all work out and be worth the wait. It’s my belief that God’s promises to you will be fulfilled and no human being can get in the way of that; as long as you follow his commands; the treasures he has in store will come.

So that’s what I am going to try to do; I’m going to try to live in the moments and be patient; just as the days past, have come; the days future, will come also; it’s inevitable.
This September is going to be the start of a season of change; God has told me that. We hopefully will be moving into our own apartment soon; get organize; get healthy; get clarity; stretch our arms a bit wider.

Also this September marks the beginning of the Fall T.V line-up; let’s see; we have some of my returning favorites; Ugly Betty, Pushing Daisies, Samantha Who?, Life, Chuck, Eli Stone (October) and new shows I’ll give a chance to; 90210, Knight Rider, Do not Disturb and whatever else I feel like watching. What can I say, I do love the tube.

Speaking of Fall (Autumn); I have only experienced it once but it is definitely one of my most favorite seasons of the year; Fall colors are absolutely beautiful and walking around during this time makes me feel as though I am in a coloring book or a work of art in a museum. These Earth tone colors are fiery hot. Loooooovvvvve it.

Coming to DVD; this September are movies such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Iron Man, The Love Guru, Made of Honor, Speed Racer, Young @ Heart (Documentary), Another Cinderella Story, Leatherheads, The Forbidden Kingdom,
Baby Mama and more.

Now, there’s nothing coming to Cinema/Theater; that I am just dying to go see on the big screen but the movies that look interesting to me are Igor, Eagle Eye, Beverly Hills Chihuahua and Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. What can I say; I’m a sucker for movies that simply make me smile or laugh. Not too serious, violent, sad or depressing. If I want to be entertained by that kind of stuff; I’d watch the news. Also Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys is debuting on big screen this month. I will watch it because it’s Tyler but it doesn’t look like my cup of tea; I’m sure I am wrong here but we’ll just have to wait and see. So that’s my panoramic view of what’s to come; only God knows what else is in store.

Oh and by the way; I was blessed to received two of the 26 wishes for my 26th birthday; number twelve: homemade and local greeting cards from all over the world; I received four gorgeous homemade cards for both myself and my daughter; as well as greeting cards in native languages with handwritten translations by senders from places such as Finland, Germany, America and the Netherlands. I also received my ice cream cake wish; Sunday; we had a get together with family to finally celebrate our birthdays; no one I am in a close relationship with; other than my husband and daughter but people who God has put in my life now and will be a part of it for a while; in fact; the person I am closest to here, other than my immediate family, boycotted this event for reasons that had nothing to do with me; I am not angry at her; I expected it and was just slightly disappointed that she chose her emotions over being their for a friend but life is, what it is. I’ll talk to you soon. Much Love.
