How are you today! I hope all is well and that you had a blessed week. I hope your weekend will be equally blessed or more so. I hope you spend it creating new happy memories with family and/or friends.
It’s October! Yeah! Can you believe it? Hasn’t this year just began? I’m so thankful for how far we have come this 2015 year.
Just about a year ago (October 4th-tomorrow) I delivered my fifth born, fourth son and fourth living child. Tomorrow we will celebrate the one year God has given us with him so far, and pray and hope for many more happy, healthy years of seeing him grow and be the man God made him to be.
So far, in his one year of living he has brought much joy to my life, and already I notice his patient, quiet , determined spirit. I love to watch him interact with the older kids and see him hold his own even though, he is quite little compare to the others.
This month, God willing, I’ll also get to see my little brother, born four years after me turn 29 years old. I’m so happy to see him become the man that he is shaping up to be, just recently taking on the responsibility of being someone’s husband. I only pray that he and his wife will build their marriage and life on the firm foundation of God’s protection, guidance, wisdom, mercy and love.
This will be our first October in our new home, we get to see the beautiful fall foliage (one of my Autumn favorites) right from our own backyard. We will have alot of fallen leaves to contend with, because we have so many trees, but it will be so beautiful to see.
I’ll love for you to not just link and run today, but to share with me some of your October favorites and if you have any family and friend birthdays coming up this month, how will you celebrate?
Blessing to you this weekend, the week ahead and for the whole month of October and beyond!

From Homeschool to Public School -How’s It Going So Far!
I don’t get to watch television as much as I use to, but there are two channels I highly enjoy watching and I set my DVR to, every time there is a new original movie on their schedule. I’m talking about Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Lately, These channels have been doing an awesome job in providing lots of good clean, sweet, romantic content for a woman like me to watch. Do you watch these channels or watch t.v at all for that matter?
So some great news! Hallmark Channel will be premiering a new movie or two every weekend from September 19th to Valentine’s Weekend 2016.
Last week this line-up of movies continued with the romantic movie called “Love on the Air” starring Alison Sweeney, I watched it and loved it. Then on Sunday, I went over to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and watched the premiere of “Hello, it’s Me”, a romantic movie with a supernatural twist (kind of like “P.S, I Love You” with Hilary Swank) starring Kellie Martin. I also highly enjoyed this movie as well. Hope you got to watch.
This weekend will mark the start of Hallmark Channel’s Fall Harvest (4 all new original premieres) with the premiere of “Autumn Dreams”, (tonight) Saturday, October 4th, 9p.m/8c, starring Jill Wagner (Wipeout).
Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will premiere a new movie from one of my favorite movie series on t.v “Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Impossible Dream” on Sunday, October 5th, 9p.m/8c starring Eric Mabius (Ugly Betty). I love the characters and story telling of these movies. I am excited.

My most favorite post shared at TGI Saturdays # 36 last week was The Antidote For Overwhelm from Dr. Michelle Bengtson, it was a very well written reminder of who we look to when we are feeling like we can’t handle all we have to do.
Please feel free to enjoy these free printables, in celebration of this new Fall season. An Autumn Blessings Wordsearch, a printout of an original poem written by myself (Latisha) and if you still haven’t written down your Autumn season hopes as yet, enjoy my Autumn Wishlist printout. Have a blessed Fall.
Hi Latisha, I’m glad my article, The Antidote to Overwhelm, ministered to you. Thank you for sharing! Have a blessed day. Because of Him, Hope Prevails!
Hi Latisha, this is my first time participating here. I’ve looked around your blog and am enjoying my visit. Thanks for the blog hop. I look forward to getting to know you a bit. I’ve linked back here from our blog and shared this linky on Pinterest.
October is my favorite month too, Latisha !!! The heat of the summer is gone and the crisp air of the autumn is filling the air with sweet breezes. We have several family birthdays in Oct and we usually all get together and have a big family bash. Love getting together with family !!! My daughter and her husband are in New York City this week on vacation. They are sharing some of their adventures and I hope to see many awesome pictures when they get home. My husband, Tom is working on a big project and started teaching classes twice a week so we are busy but we still want to take time to share some harvest fun. Hood River, Oregon (a town about an hour away) has a Fruit Loop Fall Driving Tour. Neat name !! There is a loop of about 26 miles starting in the town filled with apple, pear, peach orchards. Along the way there are antique shops and other attractions. All the way driving you can see the breathtaking view of Mt Hood in the distance. My sister and I went on it last year and it was a blast. We also have been busy cleaning the yard for colder weather. Busy month but always a fun one. I pray your family will be blessed and enjoy celebrating that little guy’s Birthday !!!
We are in our 10th day of rain! Trying to be grateful about it. I feel blessed to have time with my grandson. And we have two more on the way in the next two months! thank, Latisha!
Well, congratulations to your son! Isn’t it amazing how quickly the time flies, and how much these little ones change in just one year?! Sounds like a delightful boy – enjoy him – they grow up too fast. My youngest son will turn 29 this month – which is quite a feat since that’s my age, too (HA!! I wish!). Seems like only yesterday that he was turning one…
Happy Birthday to your little one again, and to your brother, too.
And yes, October already???
GOD BLESS!
